Gilt metal Athletics Association Art Deco medal

The image on this gilt metal medal is fantastic! The square medal which has a loupe & link for hanging on a chain, has a nude woman holding a laurel wreath sprinting from right to left in the foreground with clouds and sunrays in the background. It is stamped "Insurance Athletics Association Championships on the bottom left." The reverse is blank. When we bought it it was in a small cardboard box that I originally thought was not associated but on closer examination I saw that someone has written on it in red ink "L 440yds 1st" so there is the possibility that the box is original to the medal.
